AmirusMM™ can be used to extend an existing hardware network by installing the software on a node with both a reflective memory hardware interface and a standard network adapter.

You configure a 'bridge' to pass data to and from the hardware reflective memory system. Selected memory areas can be configured so that data is passed between the two networks either 'on change' or at programmable time intervals. In this way, data rates between the two sides can be matched and priorities established for data transfer. Any brand of reflective memory is supported through a simple shareable library.

Use the bridging capability to

  • Extend your shared memory installation over a larger geographical area than is possible using hardware alone
  • Preserve your investment in software, by allowing monitoring and control applications to be run from anywhere.
  • Simply and cheaply interface data sources which do not have hard real-time requirements.
