Developed driver and application software forPLX9030 PCI counter card to be used in MS Windows OS based uranium fuel assay system. Driver development utilized driver SDK of PLX Technologies. Implemented Oracle RDMS for data recording and reporting. Documented and developed test cases using UML tools. 

Provided software consultant services to Advanced Nuclear Fuels GmbH (a division of Framatome ANP). The services included:    

• Developed commercial and technical specifications for a PC-based commercially enriched Uranium fuel assay system. 

• Provide technical expertise to software and hardware design and development teams.

2000 - 2001 Radix Technologies, Mountain View, CA

Developed software for DSP and Embedded Control System for an Airborne Reconnaissance System. Was responsible for backend signals processing: Beam Forming. Implemented complex real-time digital signal filtering using adaptation technique. Developed and generated data simulation and unit testing. Wrote Beam Forming design and functional specifications. Participated in code review and system integrated tests.

1998 - 2000 Vitallink Corp., San Francisco, CA

Led a team of software engineers in designing and developing applications for Windows Media broadband service provider. Software applications utilized Microsoft Windows media technologies to provide live streaming of video, audio and data and on-demand video for small business.

1996 - 1998 Thermo Instruments/NNC, Sunnyvale, CA

Managed a team of 4 software/hardware engineers to design, develop an Advanced Enriched Uranium Fuel Assay System which automatically inspects fuel rods according to customer's quality controls specifications. Wrote system technical proposals and functional specifications. Developed algorithm to detect, measure and report deviant pellets. Designed and performed integrated tests. Supported and provided technical assistance to customers.

1994-1996 Varian Associates, Thin Film System, Palo Alto, CA

Led a team of developers to design and implement GUI-based Varian semiconductor equipment: M2I sputtering system (wafer processing). Implemented databases for wafer recipes. Implemented semiconductor equipment communication (SECS/GEM) protocol for interfacing among hardware modules.

1983 - 1994 National Nuclear Corp., Sunnyvale, CA

Led software development team of small staff programmers to design and develop software to support Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) system and various radiation detection equipment. Wrote technical proposals and system functional specifications. Setup standards and guidelines for software dept. development efforts. Designed and developed data acquisition sub-system including low level routine to service hardware and software interrupts.
