Put a link to us on your web site, and when someone referred from your site buys software through Citrus Controls, we'll send you a 'thank you' check for % of their first order. Here's how it works.

1) Enter your contact information here. This can be an e-mail address, phone number or address where we can reach you. Eventually, we'll need a physical address for payment but you can provide that later if you wish. (We will never use your contact information for marketing without your consent. Check our privacy policy).

 

2) Select the image you'd like to place on your web page from the following set.

 

3) Read the Terms and Conditions and signify you agree to them by ticking here .

 

4) Press to create the HTML code you'll need to place on your page. We'll receive an e-mail with your unique referral ID and contact information, and this page will refresh with the HTML code identifying you (anonymously) and the image you've selected.

 

5) Cut and paste the generated code below into your web site. You may use this code in an e-mail signature file as well if you wish. Webmaster Note: Citrus Controls has a P3P privacy policy in place, so installing this icon on a page should not affect the overall privacy rating of your site. Our web site also has an ICRA rating statement asserting "No offensive content".

 

6) That's it! Now, whenever someone clicks on our Icon on your page or in your e-mail message, they are referred to our site and a cookie is set indicating that you are the referrer. If they order software through us within 90 days, their order identifies you. When we receive payment, we'll cut you a "thank you" check. Your referral identifier is a string of numbers based upon the time you generated the HTML code; there is nothing which identifies you personally to the customer who is being referred.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. This offer applies to software purchased through the Citrus Controls web site only. It does not include software purchased through our purchasing partners, or through shareware download sites.
2. Payment will be made at the rate of % of net receipts of the first order received from each customer you refer. The "first order" is the one for which we first receive payment at our offices. No additional payments will be made for subsequent orders made by the same customer. The customer must purchase software through Citrus Controls within 90 days of a referral.
3. Payments will be made in US dollars 30 days after receipt of funds from the customer. Payment will be made to the first referrer only, should the customer have been referred through more than one site. The 'first referrer' shall be determined by the 'cookie' information retained on the customer web site.
4. Payments to referrers may be reduced by % of the amount of any returns, if processed during the 30 day period. If returns occur outside the 30 day period, future payments to the referrer may be reduced by that amount. To prevent fraud, we reserve the right to terminate this agreement with any referrer who we believe is referring non bona fides customers.
5. It is the responsibility of the referrer to provide us with a proper e-mail address or other contact information. We will not hold payments for referrers who we cannot identify prior to an order being received..
6. We reserve the right to terminate this agreement with any referrer who uses our icon on any web site promoting illegal activities or advocating the violation of the intellectual property rights of others. The HTML link provided may not be combined with graphics or text which falsely promotes our product.
7. We do not permit our icon or images to be used in promotional mass e-mail, newsgroup or list server postings. We will immediately terminate this agreement with referrers who use unsolicited commercial message techniques (spamming). No payments will be made to referrers who use these techniques, including payments that would otherwise have been made for non-spamming referrals..
8. We reserve the right to terminate this entire program at any time and without notice; however, current referrers in good standing will still receive payment for customers recently referred.
9. We are not liable for any indirect or accidental damages, nor are we responsible for any configuration problems or unusual usage of browsers that could lead to a referrer not being associated with a customer and thereby loosing a commission. 'Configuration problems' include an invalid system clock or the blocking of cookies,  'Unusual usage' includes customers invalidating cookies, resetting the system clock or clearing history records.
10. This offer may not be combined with other offers, promotions or discounts.
11. All taxes on payments made under this program are the responsibility of the recipient. We will require a valid taxpayer ID or social security number from all US resident non-corporate referrers before cumulative payments of more than $600 can be made in any calendar year.
