Citrus Controls announces low cost software reflective memory license.
Citrus Controls now provides and entry-level license which supports
sharing of 512Kbytes of memory between up to 32 computer systems on a local
area network.
Las Vegas, Nevada. December 3, 2003 – Citrus Controls today announced
the availability of a low-cost license for sharing up to 512Kbytes of
computer memory between cooperating computer systems with their AmirusMM
software reflective memory system. The entry-level license allows memory
sharing over Ethernet or 802.11 wireless networks with bandwidths of at
least 500Kbytes/second.
“With our low-cost license, we meet the needs of customers who have modest
data sharing requirements” said Dr. Tony Cox, Citrus Controls’ president.
“The preconfigured software provides instant reflective memory "out of the
box", while still providing a high-reliability platform for distributed
applications.”
The
AmirusMM entry-level system is licensed at $100 per node, which includes
diagnostic/test utilities, and interfaces for MATLAB and Visual Basic .NET.

Citrus Controls announces Wireless Reflective Memory support.
Citrus Controls now supports its AmirusMM software reflective memory over
802.11g networks. This allows computer systems to share areas of memory
without physical connections.
Las Vegas, Nevada. November 5, 2003 – Citrus Controls today announced
support for its AmirusMM software reflective memory system with the popular
802.11g wireless networking standard. Using readily available COTS hardware,
data rates up to 800kBytes/second have been achieved with three-millisecond
latency. The design offers full data synchronization between machines and
guaranteed memory consistency.
“Wireless networks are a challenging environment for our reflective memory
product, with their higher noise rates, greater potential for node drop-out,
and correlated packet loss ” said Dr. Tony Cox, Citrus Controls’ president.
“Our multicast transmission/multiple caching algorithms ensure no data gets
lost, even when the network becomes noisy. With AmirusMM, we have a
convenient, consistent, reflective memory solution for distributed wireless
applications.”
AmirusMM is licensed for new users at $600 per node, which includes
comprehensive network management, diagnostic and test utilities, and
interfaces for MATLAB and Visual Basic .NET. An optional hardware bridge
license is available to enable integration with existing hardware reflective
memory systems for an additional $200. For information, contact Marjorie St.
Pierre, VP for Marketing and Sales, by e-mail, or by phone at (702)614-0692.

Citrus Controls announces Visual Basic .NET interface for
its AmirusMM software reflective memory system.
Citrus Controls has developed an interface which simplifies the Visual Basic
.NET programmers interface to its AmirusMM shared memory system. This speeds
the development of distributed applications based on VB.NET.
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) October 1, 2003 -- Citrus
Controls today announced the release of a Visual Basic .NET interface for
its software reflective memory product. The interface allows VB.NET
programmers to define variables in shared memory, which are then accessible
to other computers through AmirusMM software reflective memory.
The interface enables AmirusMM users to design applications in VB.NET which
operate on data which is produced or used elsewhere. AmirusMM allows up to
32 computer systems to share up to 64 Mbytes of data with millisecond
latency, using standard networking components. Data access can be
coordinated through the AmirusMM distributed lock manager.
"By implementing this interface with AmirusMM, we provide a simple low-cost
mechanism for customers to integrate diverse data sources with the popular
and productive Visual Basic .NET development platform." said Dr. Tony Cox,
Citrus Controls president. "We will be announcing additional third-party
interfaces in the coming months designed to simplify data integration in
distributed systems."
The Visual Basic .NET interface is packaged with version 1.2 of AmirusMM,
available now for WindowsNT/2000/XP. AmirusMM is licensed for new users at
$599 per node, which includes comprehensive network management, diagnostic,
and test utilities. An optional hardware bridging license is available for
$200. For additional information, contact Marjorie St. Pierre, VP for

Citrus Controls announces MATLAB interface for its AmirusMM software
reflective memory system.
Las Vegas, Nevada - August 19, 2003 - Citrus Controls today announced
the release of a MATLAB interface for its software reflective memory
product. The interface allows MATLAB interactive commands and scripts
to define variables in shared memory, which are then accessible to other
computers through AmirusMM software reflective memory.
The interface enables AmirusMM users to utilize the power of MATLAB on data
which is produced or used elsewhere. AmirusMM allows up to 32 computer
systems to share up to 64Mbytes of data with millisecond latency, using
standard networking components. Data access is serialized through the
AmirusMM
distributed lock manager.
"By providing this interface with AmirusMM, we provide a simple low-cost
mechanism for customers to integrate diverse data sources with the
interactive
graphical MATLAB environment." said Dr. Tony Cox, Citrus Controls
president. "We will be announcing additional third-party interfaces in the
coming months designed to simplify data integration in distributed systems".
The MATLAB interface is packaged with version 1.1 of AmirusMM, available
now for WindowsNT/2000/XP. AmirusMM is licensed for new users
at $599 per node, which includes comprehensive network management,
diagnostic, and test utilities. An optional hardware bridging license
is available for $200. For additional information, contact Marjorie St.

Citrus Controls announces Software
Reflective Memory solution
Las Vegas, Nevada - May 30, 2003 - Citrus
Controls today announced the
release of its low-cost AmirusMM software
reflective memory, allowing up to 32
computer systems to share 64Mbytes of
main memory without proprietary
boards or cables.
Utilizing standard networking hardware,
the AmirusMM exception-driven
design supports the development and
deployment of distributed applications
on both wireless and traditional local
area networks. An optional hardware
bridging component mediates data exchange
with existing reflective memory
rings, allowing data to be shared over a
far larger geographic area
than available with hardware alone,
"With AmirusMM, we combine high
throughput with low overhead and
millisecond data latency," said Dr. Tony
Cox, Citrus Controls president.
"A distributed lock manager, and our redundant data caching
algorithms
provide a robust platform for the development of high reliability
applications,
or the porting of existing ones."
AmirusMM is available now for WindowsNT/2000/XP. Support for Linux
and WindowsCE will be available in Q4 2003. AmirusMM is licensed
for $599 per node, which includes comprehensive network management,
diagnostic, and test utilities. The optional hardware bridging
license
is available for $200. For additional information, contact Marjorie
St. Pierre,
